The Registered Energy Manager (REM) Type 1 and ECoS Registered Electrical Energy Manager (EREEM) Training Course is a comprehensive five-day, dual-certification professional programme designed to develop competent energy management professionals for commercial and industrial facilities.
The programme provides participants with an in-depth understanding of the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Act (EECA) 2024 and the Efficient Management of Electrical Energy Regulations (EMEER) 2024, together with the relevant Sabah legislation, enactments, regulatory requirements and electricity tariff structures.
Through a combination of regulatory knowledge, technical instruction and practical application, participants will acquire the competencies and skills required to manage electrical energy effectively, improve energy performance and support organisational compliance with the applicable energy management requirements in Peninsular Malaysia and Sabah.
This integrated programme is structured to prepare participants to fulfil the relevant competency requirements for registration as a Registered Energy Manager Type 1 and an ECoS Registered Electrical Energy Manager, offering a valuable pathway towards professional recognition in the energy management sector.
